I hired OHMS to install a transfer switch (see pic) so that I can connect a propane powered generator as backup power during PG&E outage. They arrived and got it done in few hours. I appreciated the fact that they spent considerable time to figure out the existing circuits and diagrammed it for future reference. They even helped to unpack and setup the generator followed by a successful test run.I had very positive experience end to end starting from my discussion with Drew, scheduling the appointment and showing up in time. Morgan did a fabulous job explaining, installing and wrapping up the job. I am very thankful for getting this job done.

Drew and Morgan gave a fair price, arrived on time, diagnosed the problem right away, and fixed the issue with my manual transfer switch.They provided the speediest and most pleasant customer service ever. Amazing, high-quality work at a great price. You really feel the value you are getting with this crew. I'll now recommend them to all my family and friends. They installed a two-car charging setup, routing the wires across the house from the panel to the garage in only two days. Just tested the two cars charging at the same time and it works amazingly. They are very knowledgeable about equipment too. Also, they planned carefully to minimize the holes cut in the sheetrock which I am grateful and also cleaned up after themselves well. You can tell they care to do the job right, the first time. The professionalism is evident.
As an interior designer, I appreciate contractors who are knowledgeable about their trade, who are proactive problem-solvers, and provide good communication. Ohms Electric exhibited all of these and I am glad that we chose them for our home project. They gave a fair quote that came in mid-range from the four estimates I received. Drew, Morgan, & Jacob arrived on time and were professional and friendly. We had them swap out exterior sconces and a ceiling fan, replace a loose duplex receptacle, and add new LED recessed lights and dimmer switch. When an issue arose with the fan controls, they immediately brought up the issue and offered solutions. I asked them onsite if they could gang the together the new dimmer switch with the existing fan switch, they said no problem and had the parts on hand. When I noticed a finishing detail that wasn’t apparent when the lights were on, Drew came the next day to take care of it, giving me ETA updates prior to arrival. Their experience is evident, and they had answers and explanations for every question I had. I highly recommend Ohms Electric and look forward to working with them on future projects.
